Let’s Say We Are Painting Together

Let's say we are painting together and you want to get closer to what it feels like to be in a cave, temperature unimportant, location unspecified, but you wanted to feel space. Space, that is itself both infinite and condensed.  I would pass you some blue watercolor to use.

                  In this new body of work, the making of the paintings and the viewing of the paintings bring us both into contact with the event of color. And at the same time, the relationships that are created through light and color live someplace outside of all this painting and viewing.  Like being both the dreamer and the dream.
